Psadmin Does not detect TUXDIR env variable

Windows Registry Issue for invoking psadmin

Failed to query Windows Registry for TUXDIR environment variable when invoking psadmin....

Do the following

Navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SOFTWARE-WOW6432NODE-ORACLE-TUXEDO-10.3...-ENV

Add TUXDIR String \locale\C
Add  NLSPATH

PeopleTools 8.52 requires Oracle 32 bit client on Win2k8

I installed Peopletools 8.52.11 on Windows 2k8 64 bit, but it just could not connect to the Oracle 11.2.0.3 database.

Wonder what was the issue!!!

The issue was Oracle 64 bit client.

Peopletools 8.52 connects to Oracle database using Oracle 32 bit client.

1. Download Oracle 32 bit client for 11
2. Deinstall Oracle 64 bit client
3. Reinstall Oracle 32 bit client on the same location.

You should be fine. Now all PeopleSoft tools connect to the database. Data Mover, Change Assistant, Application Designer.
