Forms

  1. du: Masculine singular

  3. de l': Singular nouns starting with a vowel or silent "h"

Special Cases: de, d'

  1. After negation:

  2. After expressions of quantity:

  3. With plural adjectives before the noun:

Examples Combining Both

  1. Faire with partitives:
